Ce restaurant n’a l’air de rien situé au milieu d’un parking à 2 pas de la plage Mermaid Beach. Mais une fois à l’intérieur vous découvrirez une ambiance sympa et chaleureuse. La carte est restreinte mais de grande qualité. Les assiettes préparées en cuisine sont savoureuses (un délice!) et le service est top. Le Ceviche et les gambas sont sensationnels. Deliciosa comida y excelente servicio. Cominos ceviche, croquetas, gambas, chimichurri steak y ensalada. Todo delicioso! Las croquetas las mejores, autenticas Espanolas! Las gambas tambien divinas asi como el ceviche. El cocinero de Mallorca y el bartender Italiano muy buen servicio. La sangria tambien buenisima! Hasta la proxima! :) ~ Elisa

We had lunch today at DLR in Mermaid and were seriously impressed. Snapper tacos with mango salsa, chicken tacos with pico de gallo, house signature nachos with chicken, churros and the serious wow moment of the lemon sorbet which comes infused with fresh mint and is like nothing you’ve previously had anywhere. The food was fresh, quick to come to the table and most importantly full of flavour. My 11 year old insisted that the review needed to be written and was thrilled with the service. Perham (maître d) was friendly and smiling throughout - nothing was too much trouble. The kid later seen spooning what was left of the chocolate sauce out of his churros bowl. The place is a 6/5. Highly recommended and situated in a sweet little weatherboard style house located just off the beaten track at Mermaid Beach. ~ Steve W

Amazing experience, been here previously for an event on a Friday night the level of service I received was none that I’ve seen before, always greeting with a smile, checking in and doing all the bare minimums that other places don’t do. Felt actually welcomed when being here Popped by today after a session to get a cheat meal and after eating the nachos, I’ll never go back to anywhere else. It was the best experience I’ve received at any restaurant and will be back from now on to make the nachos my weekly cheat meal. The best in the game. I've been to many good restaurants, good bars and I'm a food lover. D'la Rosa has really got my heart. I organised a booking for my bday and I ended up having such a special evening over there for the whole experience. It's definitely a place where I felt welcomed and the food reminded me great memories - really well done. Both the service and the food had a lot of care from the team. If you're looking for a place to feel comfortable, socialise and enjoying good flavours, I truly recommend D'la Rosa. It does have a nice intimate atmosphere. Great spot for functions. ~ Flavia R

We had a delicious night out here, the service was amazing and all the food went above and beyond. We enjoyed pinchos - to die for. We got the jamon and Gilda to start which you cannot miss. We then had the chimichurri steak and garlic gambas as our mains! Both mains were so delicious we were licking the plate! We enjoyed all of these so much we got another jamon and a Crème Brûlée to finish which ended the night perfectly. We loved the traditional beers and wine which added to the experience! 10/10! ~ Chloe W

I can highly recommend this restaurant, from the food which was amazing. Thank you Gary and Dasche who did an incredible job. We had our sons 18th here with 27 people everyone came up to us and raved over the food and told us how amazing it was and will be back, we did a banquet. Also to the staff thank you for your amazing service and attentiveness to our guets everyone raved over you all, plus the drinks are fantastic drinks. Top fast service and delicious food Prawns were cooked perfectly , Meatballs divine with made with quality ingredients with delicious sauce and tasty melted cheese. Enjoyed dipping toasted bread in sauce to mop up the tasty sauce Steak was tender Salad huge with a range of ingredients and feta chunks Highly recommend for delicious flavoursome food. Me and my partner had a great time at D'la Rosa. We started our night with Ceviche and tacos, which were amazing. Was his first time trying ceviche and he loved. The mince for the tacos was very tasty. For our choice of drink we had a Café Conlicor, and it was belíssimo. And to finish it all off we had the paella, and it was just amazing, so tasty and delicious. The service was great, the food was delivered quickly and everyone was very friendly. ~ Marília R

Seriously the best Asian food I’ve ever tasted and I lived in Asia for almost 8 years in the 90’s. So glad we looked at their menu, which is so simple yet so bloody delish… I would highly recommend you stop here on your way through… we might even go in there it was that good…. if I had a couple of million spare, I would invest every cent of it in the guys running this joint. We recently held my Wifes 50th birthday at D La Rosa and we highly recommend this as a venue for events. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff so friendly and helpful and the Food was delicious. The owner was helpful and professional assisting with menu ideas, music and everything we could imagine. We had such a great night we will remember for a long time. I recently dined here and it was a delightful experience! The tapas were exceptional—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The nachos were a standout, perfectly layered with generous toppings and a satisfying crunch. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service of Julian was attentive without being overbearing. Deciding to host our wedding reception here was the best decision! We were beyond impressed with the service, attention to detail and quality. Went for the wednesday tacos & nachos night with my friends and had the most wonderful time at this adorable new tapas joint in Mermaid. As a vegetarian it helps when I have options to choose from vs having to pick the only available vegetarian meal on the menu. The owner and staff were so welcoming and warm to us. We had a delightful time! Also, their $7 brownie with ice cream is a personal favourite! Keep up the good work. ~ Lopamudra G

First time dining here tonight and holy wow, the food was delicious!! It’s a small place and if you don’t really look for it, you could miss it, but definitely worth a visit. All the meats were melt in your mouth good and the flavours in general were 10/10. Side note- definitely think the wine glasses need a bit of an update (felt like I was drinking a glass of red at the pub when I saw the glass it came out in), but 100% will be back again! ~ Emma K

Blown away by D’La Rosa! The cocktail menu is fun and original, and I’d highly recommend the Cinderella Man as a desserty drink or Fro’Ro to have with tapas. The food is tasty and generous, and the small menu is packed with pescatarian options. But more than that, the atmosphere is vibing - music, decor and cocktail bar is a mood! And the team couldn’t be nicer or more full of suggestions and passion for the menu. 10/10 ~ Alex P

My partner and I have dined at Som Tam Gai half a dozen times now and it’s become our favourite local eatery. The food is simply delicious, fresh, full of flavour , generous portions, cocktails are extremely well priced. We always order the banquet as you get to try a little bit of everything and the staff there are relaxed and friendly. If you love Asian fusion this is the place to eat. What an amazing hidden secret! Wonderful service, delicious food, amazing cocktails and a cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere. I took my two teenage children for dinner and cocktails (mocktails for them of course). We had purchased a Groupon deal. Such great value. Quality food and large portion sizes. Fantastic! The location is cosy and the staff are great. Particularly appreciated the manager who was very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent: the meatballs and ceviche were great, and the creme brulee is the best we've had; whoever is making them is seriously talented! Drinks were great too, the Cinderella Man in particular being one of the better cocktails we've had in some time. Thanks for a great time! We'll definitely be back. ~ Michael E

Food, service and attentiveness was on point. The female server working the lunch service (Sunday 16th June) was doing so well to manage a busy crowd and made us feel at home. The margaritas were delicious! We even ordered dessert despite feeling full. We loved her company and the venue! Thank you for making this birthday celebration unforgettable. What a little gem. It feels like you've stepped into Spain, the wait staff are effusively yet genuinely friendly. The food is delectable and the music and atmosphere makes a night out of your pjs and off the couch absolutely worth it. Finding a park can be a bit tricky, but that's not the venue's fault and this place, at least according to me and hubby, was faultless. ~ Kristina P
